POLICE are negotiating with a man armed with a machete who is stood on the wrong side of balcony railings at a block of flats in Brierley Hill.
Officers and police negotiators are at the scene outside a block of flats on Hill Street to bring the incident to a "safe conclusion".
Hill Street has been cordoned off while negotiations take place.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "Officers are currently outside a block of flats on Hill Street, Brierley Hill where a man is stood on the wrong side of the balcony railings armed with a machete.
"The road is cordoned off and police negotiators are at the scene to help bring the incident to a safe conclusion."
