TWO men have been arrested after a burglary in Cradley Heath in the early hours of this morning.
The 23-year-old and 21-year-old remain in police custody after the burglary in Compton Road.
One of the men was found by a police dog hiding in Netherton Park after they sped off from the scene and were chased by police.
A spokesman for Dudley Police said: "We were called to Compton Road in the early hours of this morning Wednesday (July 8) to reports of a burglary in progress.
"As officers arrived a red Skoda was leaving the scene.
"Following a chase, the car was abandoned on Stretton Place in Dudley and a group of men were seen running from the car.
"A 23-year-old was quickly detained and arrested.
"The car, which was believed to be on false plates, was searched and a large Rambo knife was found nearby.
"Police dog Ellis was set to track the other occupants of the car and found the 21-year-old man hiding in dense undergrowth in Netherton Park.
"He was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and vehicle theft."
