POLICE forced entry to multiple Worcester homes yesterday as part of 'an ongoing investigation.'

Police officers from a specialist team said they helped detectives force entry to multiple homes at the same time.

The officers said they were carrying tasers and had police dogs with them for the searches yesterday (July 7) afternoon.

West Mercia Police posted on Twitter: "Provided Method of Entry (MOE), Taser and Search support for the arrest phase of an ongoing investigation in Worcester this afternoon.

"We assisted WorcesterCID and were joined by K999Cops and SWorcPROACTIVE to target multiple addresses at once."

We have asked West Mercia Police for more information.
