A GREEN-fingered Herefordshire fundraiser has raised over £500 for charity selling plants outside her home.
Trish MacCurrach started the Plants for Good stall in a pull in outside her home on Cutterbach Lane, Kington, in March.
During the last few months she has been selling all kinds of plants, including different varieties of tomato, Cosmos, sunflowers, foxgloves, and strawberries, as well as bunches and bouquets of picked flowers to order.
The stall has raised over £550 for St Mary’s Church Parochial Church Council, Kington and The Red Cross Covid 19 Vulnerable Fund.
Trish said: “I will keep going with the stall as long as I have stocks available and people keep coming.
“About 80 per cent of the plants I have grown and four or five other kind people have brought me other plants to sell for the charities.
“Thank you to everyone who has bought plants from the stall and supported the two organisations during the lockdown.”
