TWO people have been charged by police after they allegedly attacked an officer with a pair of scissors before throwing boiling water over them.
The pair, who live in Mayberry Avenue in the Red Hill area of Hereford, were arrested on Sunday (July 5) following the allegations, West Mercia Police said.
A force spokesperson said: "Two people from Hereford were remanded to prison today. They were both arrested on Sunday, July 5 following an allegation they attacked a police officer with a pair of scissors in an attempt to stab them before throwing boiling water over them.
"Craig Rowe, 41, has been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm and Hannah Currie, 36, has also been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm as well as assaulting an emergency worker by beating.
"Both live in Mayberry Avenue in Hereford and appeared at court this afternoon (July 6)."
