POLICE have thanked residents who made them aware of drug dealing.

We previously reported on the raid that took place in London Road at 1pm on Wednesday (July 1).

Throughout that afternoon there was a heavy police presence in the area, with at least two vans and a police car.

A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "We would like to thank local residents who made us aware of drug dealing activity in the London Road area which enabled our local policing teams to respond to these concerns.

"Officers arrested a 39 year old woman from Worcester and 18 year old man from Brighton on suspicion of drugs offences.

"They currently remain in custody."
