FIREFIGHTERS were called to numerous incidents yesterday.

Fire crews were called after reports of a car crash on A4133 Junction A443 Holt Heath, near Worcester, yesterday.

The emergency services were called at 1.16pm.

The car was made safe and no one was trapped inside.

The fire service assisted ambulance after a person had fallen down The Dingle at Malvern Hills.

The incident happened at 1.13pm.

The person was transferred from hillside with the the ambulance.

At 4.37pm the fire service was called to Shrubbery Avenue in Worcester after there was a fire in a resident's cooker.

The fire was put out before arrival, and the cooker was isolated and moved to outside of the property.

A lorry container was destroyed after being caught on fire in Dilmore Lane, Claines yesterday afternoon.

Two hose reel jets and one main jet was used to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters were called to an open fire in Perry Wood, Worcester.

The fire involved undergrowth which was around 1m x 1m and was out before the firefighters arrived at the scene.

It was dampened down and two waterback packs were used.
