TWO more county tips are re-opening this week.
The Household Recycling Centres in Droitwich and Hallow are re-opening on May 28, bringing the number of tips re-opened to nine.
Due to new social distancing measures, fewer visitors are allowed on site at any one time, so cars are having to queue to get into the sites.
Councillor Tony Miller, cabinet member with responsibility for the environment, said: “I’m pleased that we’ve managed to open another two of our Household Recycling Centres.
"I’d like to take the opportunity to remind people to please be patient when visiting, and to check the Let’s Waste Less website before travelling due to restrictions that are in place, across all of our operating sites.
"While the doors to two further HRC’s are opening, things will not be running as they were before the lockdown was brought in due to the social distancing measures that remain in place.”
Full details of the restrictions that are currently in place at Household Recycling Centres across Worcestershire can be found on the Let’s Waste Less website.
