ONE of the biggest concerns of doctors is the impact that the Covid-19 outbreak is having on the mental health of people.

Whilst there is no prescription that can be given to solve money worries, isolation, relationship problems or health concerns at the stroke of a pen or press of a keyboard return key, there is advice available on how to cope better with stress and anxiety.

Dr Caron Morton, a partner at the surgery, believes that as the town gradually moves out of lockdown and into an uncertain future mental health could get worse.
