IT is less than two months since flooding brought disruption and destruction to Herefordshire.
Property was damaged and there were widespread road closures following Storm Dennis downpours across the county.
But the flooding was abruptly followed by a period of fine weather that the coronavirus lockdown has meant we have not been able to fully enjoy.
On his daily exercise, though, Owen Jones was able to notice the dramatic impact several weeks of sunshine has had on the meadows near Bartonsham Dairy, Hereford.

Fields that were under water late last year, and as recently as a few week ago are now noticeable for large areas of parched, cracked earth.
Meanwhile, our pictures of Greenway Bridge, Hereford, show the stark contrast of a dry road and the torrent that poured across it during Storm Dennis.
Make the most of the nice weather, though, because rain is on the way!
According to the Met Office, Herefordshire can expect showers this evening and through the night.
Monday will see rain in the morning gradually clearing to leave a drier afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler than in recent days.
