PEOPLE in Tenbury have been given a challenge to help their wellbeing during these difficult times.

Malvern Hills District Council is encouraging people to look after their hearts, bodies and minds whilst at home with the weekly #WeBeatCorona challenge.

The council’s physical activity and wellbeing officer, Rachel Nicholls, has developed a 12-week challenge which includes activities people can do in their own homes to help them become more active as well as improve their wellbeing.

Based on each letter of the hashtag #WeBeatCorona, the five-minute videos focus on three different areas: the heart, body and mind. They will include different exercises, mindfulness advice, positive things people can do to stay connected with others and more.

The videos are being shared on the council’s YouTube channel and social media pages every Monday and people are being encouraged to get involved by sharing their photos and videos with the hashtag #WeBeatCorona.
