THE number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Herefordshire has risen to 70, latest figures from NHS England show.

As of 8.45pm today (Tuesday, April 7), it was confirmed four more people had tested positive for Covid-19 in Herefordshire, up from 66 on Monday.

While there were no further deaths related to coronavirus recorded in Herefordshire in today's figures, the UK's death toll has risen to 6,159.

This figure only includes people who died in hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.
