AN artist from Hereford is saying thank you to NHS staff and other key workers in her own unique way.

Known as Tiny Trekker, Helen Parry has placed some of her miniature works around Hereford to try and lift spirits of people who find them.

The tiny sculptures have been placed around one area of Hereford, with Ms Parry not wanting to reveal which area in a bid to try and stop people unnecessary trips.

"I wanted to say thank you to the NHS and Key Workers in my own way," she said.

"Obviously now with the lockdown I have not been able to go far, but I have placed a few out as I take my daily exercise."

"It's for people to find, just if people come across them as they take their daily exercise, I hope it brightens up their day."

Ms Parry, who runs her own YouTube channel, thanked the key workers working hard in the county's battle against coronavirus.

In a video, she said: "A massive thank you to the NHS of course, and the key workers. They're doing a fantastic job for us.

"They (the sculptures are about now. If you do come across them I hope it'll brighten your day a bit as you come across some art in an usual place."

Police in Hereford have already spotted one of the pieces around the city.

Hereford Cops shared the picture on Facebook with the message: "Look what we've spotted today whilst out on patrol... a tiny trekker masterpiece. Has anyone else spotted this whilst out on daily exercise?"
