Having lived in Herefordshire all my life and been a former Mayor of Hereford 1996/7 may I say how appalled I am to read of the behaviour of a minority of people, some I am sure from out of the county, regarding their attitude to the workforce in our essential shops.
Thank you for highlighting instances of this, but I would ask the question WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH THESE PEOPLE?
Most of us have had the benefit of at least a basic education.
Did this include how to be abusive to our fellow human beings or how to ignore simple instructions for the benefit of ALL? I think not.
Therefore I invite the people adopting totally unacceptable behaviour to shop workers and also flouting guidelines given for the protection of all to look at yourselves and feel ashamed.
The virus may not affect you but your actions could impact upon others and maybe result in death.
Think about it.
