A BEWDLEY mum who runs baby adventure sessions is ecstatic after reaching the finals for a business mum of the year award.

Sara Hemmings' business Glow Bambino offers support to mums and their babies through sessions where they can learn, play and bond.

The mum of four moved from Scotland to Bewdley in 2017 with her husband and set up Glow Bambino adventure sessions in a new studio.

She said: "I started Glow Bambino so I could work from home, support other mums & create magical worlds where mums & their baby can come along & learn play & bond, meet other mum's all in a glowing theatrical session."

"We were nominated for the national awards by The Family Network and I am one of five finalists for the Mum In Business award.

This means the world to me - to be recognised as a 'mum' in business. It's a balancing act, making sure my children are at the centre of my life but also running a successful new business."

Glow Bambino started up in February 2018 and now offers six theatrical sessions a week, and a weekly parental baby massage class.

While growing the business Sara has also settled her children in to a new community and school, had her 4th child.

She has also started two new franchisees running sessions in Ayrshire and Rugby, completed and a diploma in Infant massage instruction and started monthly ‘dads’ and bambino’s sessions.

Sara has reached out to other local businesses to offer parents a variety of special events where families can have a wonderful afternoon of fun with their babies and tots All Glow Bambino sessions and events include coffee and cake enabling mums and parents time to socialise and build new supportive friendships.

Sara added: “I am so proud and honoured to have been announced a Finalist. To me, running Glow Bambino very rewarding and magical anyway, but to be recognised for that is amazing”
