A LARGE police presence was seen in Hereford last night (Monday).

Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to an incident on the A465 Aylestone Hill at Aylestone Park.

Herefordshire police's Inspector Robin Davies said: “At around 5.40pm last night officers were called to an address in Aylestone Hill, Hereford, as there was concern for the safety and welfare of a man in his 30s.

“Officers were able to gain entry to the man’s bedroom and take him into their custody. He was then taken to hospital where he is currently being assessed.”
