A 47-year-old man has admitted dealing cannabis to 'friends'.

Christopher Moule pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis with intent to supply when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday. Moule of Farriers Corner, Droitwich, had 21.5g of the class B drug on March 13 last year. By his guilty plea he accepted he had the drug in his possession 'with intent to supply it to persons unknown'.

Kerry Lovegrove, prosecuting, said the case should go to Worcester Crown Court for sentence.

The drugs were found in eight small and four larger wraps and he also had £170 in cash. Moule also had a mobile phone which contained messages regarding street level dealing.

In police interview he admitted dealing to 10 to 15 friends.

The sentence will take place at Worcester Crown Court on January 30. A pre-sentence report was ordered in the meantime.

Moule was granted unconditional bail.
