MISTY weather didn't deter walkers who spent the first day of the new year climbing the Malvern Hills.
It's become something of an annual tradition for families to walk to the top of the hills as a way to blow away the cobwebs from the New year's eve celebrations.
And what better way to start the new year than with a brisk outdoor walk?
Sadly, this year, the usually stunning view was obstructed by the mist.
However, the Field, Harrison, McNelis, Haddock and Luce families all enjoyed their New Year's day walk.
While also enjoying a festive walk was the Lindley family who climbed to the beacon on New Year's Eve.
