This New Year, the Artrix in Bromsgrove will welcome a new regular club "aimed at getting teenagers to explore their creativity and learn some new techniques".
Supported by Arts Award Centre and led by Artist Tutor Amanda Lowe, Teen Art Club and Home Educated Teen Art Club will be running on Tuesdays, beginning from January 7.
But Artrix is giving young people a chance to try before they buy by attending a free taster session on Wednesday December 11.
A spokesman said: "Come and try the taster class for the course starting in January to see the creative fun you will experience. Teen Art Club is a fun and friendly club where young people can learn all about different techniques and have the opportunity if they would like to work towards an Arts Award qualification, they will be able to gain a Bronze or Silver Award (equivalent to a GCSE), which could lead on to a Gold Award (equivalent to an A level)."
