Pebworth First School rounded off its harvest celebrations with a special lunch, made by the pupils using home grown produce from the school’s fruit and vegetable garden.
The children invited the village choir to join them for the meal, as a ‘thank you’ for the support they have given the school. When the guests arrived they were entertained by the children singing their harvest songs and playing their instruments.
The choir members were truly impressed with the delicious food and enjoyed the conversation with the children.
It was also an opportunity for the new School Leader, Georgia Reynolds, to meet members of the village community.
Liz Spence, a choir member said: "The food and company were delightful and I would love to be invited back again!"
