PEOPLE wishing to remember someone special during the Lights of Love campaign are being reminded to get involved.

Residents wanting to leave a dedication to someone they love now have until Saturday, December 7 to do so.

Remembrance books will then be displayed around Christmas trees in Bromsgrove, Redditch, Rubery and at other locations, from Friday, December 13.

The Lights of Love campaign, which raises money for Primrose Hospice, is open to everyone who wishes to remember a loved one over the Christmas period.

Emma Williams, fundraising manager at Primrose Hospice, said: “Our Lights of Love campaign is for everyone in our community who has lost someone special to them.

“The loved one does not have to have been cared for by Primrose Hospice for people to make a dedication to them."

She added: “At Primrose, we understand how important it is to remember those who have died and to peacefully reflect on their lives and warmly invite you to join with us at one of our special remembrance services.”

Several special remembrance services will also be taking place in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Rubery as well as a Carols by Candlelight service at Primrose Hospice in St Godwalds Road, Bromsgrove on Thursday, December 19 from 6pm.
