REMEMBRANCE Sunday will be celebrated across Worcestershire to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women involved in the two World Wars.

On Sunday November 10 a service will take place at Worcester Cathedral at 10am. The act of remembrance at County War Memorial will take place at 10:55am.

The following day there will be another act of remembrance at County War Memorial at 10:55am for Armistice Day.

In Droitwich the service will start just before 11am at Victoria Square on Remembrance Sunday.

The precession will arrive at 10:45 at the square and the route is from the West Croft underpass to the square.

In Evesham Uniformed organisations and ex-service personnel will assemble in the Amenity area outside Iceland at 10.15 am. At 10.50 am they will parade from there to the War Memorial, arriving at 10.56am, for a two minutes silence at 11.00 am.

Following the Act of Remembrance, the band will lead the ex-service standard bearers, the Civic Party and the uniformed organisations to All Saints’ Church for a Service of Remembrance.

In Malvern the Remembrance parade will muster at 1:50pm then march to Great Malvern Library where a service and wreath laying will take place at 2:25pm.

A service of remembrance will commence at the Priory at 3pm.

There will be a short service on Monday November 11 at the war memorial within Great Malvern Priory at 10:55am.

In Ledbury a parade and act of remembrance will be held at the War Memorial Service in St Michael’s Church at 10:40am.
