THE Beckett’s Farm driving range in Wythall is set to re-open following a £250,000 revamp.
The re-launch sees a number of new facilities, including the introduction of state of the art Top Tracer Range technology in every driving range bay, meaning local golfers can experience the same ball-tracking technology that traces the shots of the world’s best players on TV.
This aims to create a fun, immersive experience that delivers key game improvement stats to seasoned golfers, while providing a fun, leisure activity for social groups and even first-time golfers.
The launch, on Thursday, October 24, will see a day of activities.
Every visitor will receive a free drink and a free bucket of balls to take on the range, where they can take part in a series of prize challenges.
The newly updated driving range is owned by nationwide golf retailer American Golf.
It is hoped the improvements will make Beckett’s Farm facility the most advanced in the area.
A spokesman said Beckett’s Farm had always been a haven for the region’s improving golfers and with the addition of the latest technology and newly refurbished range, there has never been a better time to be a golfer in South Birmingham.
