A TECH firm based in Malvern is celebrating after it was named a finalist in a regional business awards.

Payara Services Ltd, which delivers production, development and migration support to more than 50 businesses worldwide, was named as a finalist in the Midlands International Trade/Exporter of the Year category in the 2020 Midlands Business Awards.

Julia Millidge, HR manager at Payara, said: “Being shortlisted as a finalist for these awards is amazing, and all due to the hard work and professionalism of everyone at Payara.

"We are thrilled that the judges have supported our nomination and believe we have the potential to win International Trade/Exporter of the Year 2020.

"As Payara exports over 95 per cent of its services globally, we truly are a micro-multinational business and have no plans to change this.”

Founded in 2007, The Midlands Business Awards provides a platform for any business from any industry to celebrate their success story.

From manufacturers and service providers to universities and young entrepreneurs, they recognise the best business minds across 13 different categories.

The winners will be decided by an independent panel of judges and announced during a black-tie ceremony next spring, bringing together hundreds of the finest business talent the region has to offer.

The winners in each category will receive their award at the 14th Annual MBA Gala Dinner on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Athena venue in Leicester.

Now in its 13th year, The Midlands Business Awards is a major event in the business calendar for the whole of the Midlands.
