A HEREFORDSHIRE restaurant which draws its inspiration from the abundance of locally grown, seasonal ingredients has taken its place in this year's Good Food Guide.
Pensons, the new restaurant from Lee Westcott and Peta Darnley on the Netherwood Estate, has been featured in this year’s Good Food Guide, and is one of the year’s highest scoring new entries.
With a score of 6, it is the highest ranking in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Gloucestershire.
The score marks a restaurant that showcases 'exemplary cooking skills, innovative ideas, impeccable ingredients and an element of excitement.'
Pensons, which is situated on the Herefordshire and Worcestershire border, has been open for less than a year and draws inspiration from the produce within the estate and surrounding countryside, with Lee placing utmost importance on quality, seasonal ingredients.
The whole team are hugely honoured to be included in the guide.
