STAFF at a shop in Rednal have been threatened by a man with knife in a daring daylight robbery.
Police were alerted just before noon on September 4 to a knifepoint robbery at Tom's Hardware store in Bristol Road South.
It’s understood a white man threatened a staff member with a knife before stealing cash and tools in a black bag.
Police said enquiries are underway and urged anyone who saw the man running off or witnessed the robbery to call West Midlands Police on 101 or Live Chat via WMP Online quoting crime reference 20BW/2100576G/19.
Police are also investigating an attempted knife point robbery at Longbridge Superstore on Bristol Road South at around 3.30pm on Monday (September 2) and another attempted knife point robbery at TSM Newsagents in Edgewood Road just after 3.15pm on Monday (2 September).
Police have not said if the incidents are linked.
