OVER 180 students from the Chase school enjoyed their annual prom, held in the glorious surroundings of Stanbrook Abbey at Callow End.

The students were celebrating the end of Year 11, and marked the occasion by dressing up in glamorous outfits and arriving in unusual forms of transportation.

One party showed up in the school minibus, chauffeured personally by head Mike Fieldhouse, a privilege that they had bid successfully for in a charity auction held by the friends of the school earlier this year.

Other exotic vehicles present included Maserati and Ferrari sports cars and a dune buggy.

Chris Shipp of the school said: “Everyone had a really great time. It’s the fourth year we’ve held the event at Stanbrook Abbey, which is a fantastic venue.

“The students really enjoy the event, and they really spend a lot of time and money preparing for it and making sure that it’s a memorable event.”
