THIS is the footage of a "maniac" driver as he caused £60,000 worth of damage to police vehicles and injured five police officers.
The footage, released on Twitter by OPU Worcestershire, shows the van being driven by Irfan Mohammed, who repeatedly attempts to reverse into the chasing police car.
The chase happened in Droitwich on May 18 and was only stopped when an officer in an unmarked car rammed Mohammed off the road.
He tried to escape on foot before he was bitten by a police dog.
Mohammed, 30, of Coleshill Road, Birmingham, was jailed for 22 months on June 17 for dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking, possession of cannabis and driving without insurance.

Judge Robert Juckes said: "They (the police officers) were having to make an extraordinarily difficult decision as to how best to deal with a person who was behaving effectively – it’s not an exaggeration to say – like a maniac in a car.
"You put lives seriously at risk by what you did."
