EASTER is traditionally the time to see a giant bunny; but an audience at Blockley in the Cotswolds will be seeing the big white rabbit instead, thanks to a performance of “Alice in Wonderland”, in St George’s Hall.
Victoria Olavesen-Stabb, a 14 year old Year-10 student at Chipping Campden School, is to play the lead role of Alice when it is staged by Blockley Amateur Dramatic Company (BAD Company), from April 9 to April 11.
She said: “I’ve always been very expressive and theatrical. I was especially excited to be a part of the ‘Alice’ production as I read the story as a young child and absolutely fell in love with the Britishness - and absurdity - of the characters and story.”
