A Kidderminster woman has been banned from driving after being stopped while twice the drink drive limit.

Rachael Nunn, aged 31, of St Michaels Place, Canterbury Road, admitted one charge of drink driving when she appeared at the town's magistrates court on Tuesday, February 12.

Nunn, who was driving a Vauxhall Astra in Goldthorn Road, Kidderminster when she was stopped on January 24, was found to have 72mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath - the legal limit is 35mcg.

She was disqualified from driving for 20 month, which may be reduced by 20 weeks if she undergoes a drink drive course.

Nunn was also fined £120 and ordered to pay £120 costs and a victim surcharge of £30.

Also appearing at Kidderminster Magistrates Court that day were:

  • Anastasia Andrews, aged 22, of Bronwen Ingham Court, Kidderminster, admitted damaging a police cell, including the cell pillow, mattress and safety blanket. She was ordered to pay West Mercia Police £100 in compensation, and costs of £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service. Andrews also admitted being drunk and disorderly at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch on February 1, 2019. The court issued no separate penalty for that offence.
  • Anna Jaremko, aged 37, of Forge Court, St Michaels Close, Stourport, admitted stealing a bottle of vodka worth £9.99 from Aldi in Green Street, Kidderminster on January 21, 2019. Jaremko was given a conditional discharge for 12 months, and ordered to pay £50 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
  • Mark Neal, aged 30, of Witley Close, Rifle Range estate, Kidderminster, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards Matthew Whitehouse with intent to cause that person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used on January 27, 2019 in Kidderminster. Neal was fined £230 and ordered to pay £130 costs and a victim surcharge of £30. Neal also admitted being in possession of amphetamines on the same date for which he was fined £50.
  • Samantha Percival, aged 27, c/o Windermere House, Hurcott Road, Kidderminster, admitted damaging a RCD switchbox to the value of £295.65 belonging to Community Housing Group on New Year's Day. Percival was fined £66, and ordered to pay £66 costs and a victim surcharge of £30.
  • Jamie Walker, aged 33, of Dunlin Drive, Kidderminster, admitted stealing meat worth £40 from Marks and Spencer in Kidderminster on January 26, 2019. Walker was ordred to pay compensation of £40.
  • Laura Whatmore, aged 30, of Windmill Close, Stourport-on-Severn, admitted stealing children's clothing worth £26 from M&Co on January 15. Whatmore was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.
  • Matthew Whitehouse, aged 29, of Almond Avenue, Kidderminster, admitted using threatening abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards Mark Neal with intent to cause him to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used in Kidderminster on January 27. Whitehouse was fined £230. He also admitted assaulting a police officer on the same day for which he was fined £130 and ordered to pay £50 compensation, £130 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
