BEWDLEY theatre enthusiasts can discover secrets of one of the most famous thriller writers of all time in a new play.

The one-woman show ‘Where is Mrs Christie?’ by the Worcester Rep Company, which explores the mysterious 11-day disappearance of author Agatha Christie, will be performed at St George’s Hall on Saturday February 16.

The author of the new play, Chris Jaeger, cunningly turns the “whodunnit” story into a “whydunnit” with Agatha herself as narrator, defendant, and defence counsel.

The famous writer is played by Liz Grand, who portrays her as a persuasive, mysterious soul, engaging the audience into the story.

The disappearance of Agatha Christie during the nineteen-twenties, has been an object of fascinating speculation amongst fans of her work.
