A PEDESTRIAN was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries after being hit by a car in Kidderminster in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, February 12).

A black Mini Cooper, registration ending HYX, was driving along the Stourbridge Road in the direction of the Horsefair area at around 12.15am.

The pedestrian, a 36-year-old man, was walking with another man on a pedal bike when he was hit by the car.

Investigating officers are appealing for information from the public including dash cam footage.

PC Josh Upston, of West Mercia Police, said: "We are keen to speak with anyone who may have seen the incident on the Stourbridge Road in the early hours of this morning so that we can get a better understanding of what has occurred.

"We are especially keen to see any dash cam footage from the area at the time of the incident. If you have any information please call 101.

"To help with our investigation we're keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any other information that could help with our enquiries."
