ST James’s Church in Welland is once again hosting a Shindig Live and Local gig in its quest to raise money for outside lighting.
The latest event, on Saturday, February 16, features the Jaywalkers, finalists in the BBC 2 Young Folk awards who bring together a blend of American bluegrass, English folk, country and Western swing, all presented in a humorous manner.
The concert at 7pm, and tickets at £10 can be obtained in advance from Welland Stores or by contacting Viv Nelson viv@nelsontraining.co.uk. Doors open at 6.15pm.
There will be a licensed bar and the concert will be cabaret-style and lit by candlelight.
