THREE people have been taken to hospital following a crash on the Bewdley Bypass this morning (December 24).
West Midlands Ambulance Service were called by police to reports of a two-car collision just after 10am.
Three ambulances, a paramedic officer and an air ambulance from Strensham were sent to the scene.
A man who had suffered serious injuries was rescued by firefighters from one of the cars.
Paramedics delivered trauma care to the man at the scene before rushing him to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham via land ambulance.
Two other patients were assessed at the scene for minor injuries before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
The incident has been left with West Mercia Police.
