A PEDESTRIAN suffered injuries to his leg after he was hit by a car while walking up the hill near to the Hopton Crown Inn pub near Kidderminster.

The man, aged in his 20s, was struck by a car on the A4117 in Hopton Wafers on Sunday (November 11) at around 12.25am.

Officer Howard Fletcher, of West Mercia Police, said: "On Sunday we were called to reports of an injured man following a collision with a vehicle.

"The man was walking up the hill near to the Crown Inn, in the Ashcroft, Hopton Wafers, area of Kidderminster on Sunday morning at around 12.25am.

"We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed or has information relating to the incident, was in the area at the time, or has dashcam footage of the collision."

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 27s.
