ACTIVE Kitchen is returning to Bromsgrove to encourage young people to keep active during the October half term.
Young people from across the district took part in gymnastics, dance, football, rugby, dodgeball and enjoyed healthy food at events in Sidemoor and Charford during the last school holidays.
The sessions aim to provide a safe place for children aged nine to 14 to keep active and avoid holiday hunger with free home-prepared meals.
Events will take place at St Andrew's Church in Lyttleton Avenue on Monday, October 29 and Tuesday, October 30, and at NewSong Community Church in Broad Street on Wednesday, October 31 and Thursday, November 1.
Cllr Chris Bloore said: "I'm really pleased to be able to fund these sessions as I know how popular they were with local children."
All sessions run from 12pm to 2pm and are free to attend. Register your interest at sd@bromsgroveandredditch.gov.uk.
