ARMED police were called to a home after a man was making threats to kill.

A man and a woman in their 20s and a 30-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possessing a class B drug with intent to supply at a home in Hawthorne Walk in Droitwich on Monday (June 11).

Three police officers armed with an automatic weapon were seen by an eyewitness outside the home at around 7pm.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.

He has been released under investigation over drug possession but no further action will be taken over the threat to kill.

A 21-year-old woman from Droitwich was arrested on suspicion of section 4a public order - using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards another person - as well as possession of a class B drug with intent to supply. She has been released with no further action.

A 30-year-old man from Droitwich was arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B drug with intent to supply. He was also arrested on suspicion of fraud and criminal damage in relation to a separate incident.

He has been released under investigation.

An eyewitness to the armed raid, who wished not to be named, said police officers took each person out of the house one-by-one.

"There were the three armed police officers that you can see in the photo. I couldn't see any other armed officers.

"I'd say it lasted for a good half an hour, 40 minutes before they started bringing people out of the house."
