THE finale Redditch Bandstand Festival of the year went out with a big bang, with a carnival, Wilson's fun fair, and fancy dress parade.
The exciting finale to all of this summer’s family events was at the weekend, on Church Green, at the iconic bandstand.
Samba band Oya Batacuda led the parade through the town and the Kingfisher Shopping Centre and there were refreshments from around the world.
There were also members of Redditch Local History Society discussing their latest research and volunteers from Headless Cross Orchard with their juicer.
Olivia Pienta’s young dancers produced a wonderful colourful set.
Redditch Council leader Bill Hartnett said it was a wonderful day.
"It was great to see all the acts perform, there were lots of smiles and thankfully the rain held off," he said.
"I always enjoy the bandstand season, it gives a chance for the wealth of talent from Redditch to perform and for us to enjoy.
"I would like to thank Sue Yeng and all who attended and helped make the day a great success."
