REDDITCH MP Karen Lumley recently lent her support to the Inkberrow Craft and Christmas Fair at Inkberrow Village Hall.
Admission was free for the event and there were lots of craft stalls, plus tombola, cakes, bric a brac, children’s toys and much more. The Black Pig Company, which is based on Alcester Road near Inkberrow and looks after rare breed pedigree Berkshire Black Pig, were also on hand to supply delicious hot dogs and pork baps.
Funds raised from refreshments went towards the Alzheimer’s Society and the St Peter’s Fabric Fund.
Mrs Lumley said: “I am always happy to back community events and the Inkberrow Christmas fair is one of the best. There were lots of local residents in attendance and I’m sure a lot of money was raised. I even got the rare opportunity to do a bit of shopping myself and had a win on the tombola.”
