PUPILS from Woodfield Academy in Redditch recently used a non-uniform day to help others less fortunate than themselves.
Instead of paying a donation to wear their own clothes, the pupils were asked to donate non-perishable food items.
The response was overwhelming as nearly 600 pupils brought in food.
The items will be donated to two town charities- Redditch Food Bank and the Salvation Army -both of which distribute food to those who need it.
