PEOPLE are being invited to attend a free summer fete in Salford Priors.

The 2017 Salford Priors Fete and Country Fair will include a WWII Royal Air Force Spitfire, a dog show and more than 30 tabletop stalls selling goods and produce.

Kids and adults can enjoy all the fun of the fair with inflatable slides, swing boats, mini carousel and bumper cars.

Other attractions will include a roof thatcher, bee keeper, tombola and raffle, a dog show and a display by The Royal Enfield Motorcycle Owners club.

There will also be a wide range of food and drink including ice creams, crepes, strawberries and cream, pies and pasties.

A 'Bake Off' competition will also take place and entrants will vie to win prizes whilst visitors can sample four servings for only £2.

Elsewhere in the village, as part of the event, there will be a Scarecrow Competition with prizes up for grabs.

The event is taking place on Saturday, June 24 from 2pm. To apply to take part in a competition or for more information go to salford-priors.co.uk.
