THE Shadow Secretary of State for Defence said a Redditch company set an excellent example to all British industries when he visited last Wednesday.
Liam Fox was at Mettis Aerospace in Windsor Road, one of Britain's biggest employers, which makes Aerospace components and works on leading military programmes.
Mr Fox met the directors and talked to employees about the work the company does.
He said: "Mettis Aerospace is a vital, key player in the defence sector.
"I was extremely impressed with its record of employment and its innovation when it comes to apprenticeships.
"It's an excellent example to other British industries."
