REDDITCH bookworms got to meet TV's Ricky Tomlinson on Saturday when he visited Waterstones in the Kingfisher Centre.
Best known as cranky couch potato Jim Royle in BBCs award winning comedy series The Royle Family, Ricky was at the shop signing copies of his new book, Celebrities My Arse!
And this wasn't the shop's only brush with a star as everyone's favourite doll popped in.
A real-life Barbie held a storytime session for youngsters.
