TERRYSPRING Court's elderly residents, are taking part in a national scheme with Extra Care Trust charity to be part of the London 2012 Olympics.
Special ‘miles’ are being award to clients who take part in activities or sports throughout all Extra Care homes.
The aim is to reach 1,000 miles before the London games start in the summer.
Last week, the home in Redditch held an Olympic Challenge Day to encourage everyone to raise more miles for their campaign.
To give the day a more interesting feel the staff decide to theme the day on a country taking part in the Olympics, and France was the chosen nation.
