CHILDREN at Alcester Nursery Studio are getting their hopes up for a mammoth fundraising effort to raise money for a sensory and tactile area in their outdoor play environment.
Parents and staff from the nursery are preparing for a charity auction, which is set to take place at Alcester Members’ Club on Saturday, October 15.
The auction has some fantastic items on offer including glider and microlite flights, spa days, tickets for live events, paintballing events golf days, days out to Wookey Hole and Coughton Court, gym memberships, and items donated from the set of Coronation Street.
Tickets for the auction, which starts at 7.30pm, are priced at £6.50, and include food.
They can be purchased from Barclays Bank in Alcester, Alcester Post Office, PSW Alcester, and from Alcester Nursery Studio itself.
Alternatively tickets can be bought on the night for £3 not including food.
