REDDITCH’S MP was invited to a meeting with a fundraising enthusiast and student of Trinity High School student to hear of the plans he has for a fundraising concert for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
The concert being organised by Harry Bishop is due to take place later this year.
Karen was extremely impressed with the many ideas Harry had for the project in this early stage of planning, from venue ideas, live act suggestions, through to potential celebrity guests.
Mrs Lumley said: “It was great to meet Harry who is such a committed and focussed individual and to hear of all the wonderful ideas he has for raising money for such a worthwhile cause.
“I am looking forward to receiving progress updates along the way towards the concert for Acorns which should prove to be a fantastic event.”
Details on the venue location and date for the event are due to be finalised shortly.
