ROYAL Mail is delighted to announce the fourth special stamp issue in its continuing Kings and Queens series.

The mint stamps are designed around contemporary portraits of the Stuart monarchs from James I to Anne, complete with the dates of each reign in the border.

The miniature sheet reflects that the Stuarts era was a time for innovation and creativity in science, music, literature and architecture. Featuring Physician William Harvey, the pivotal Battle of Naseby, poet John Milton, who penned Paradise Lost, and architect John Vanbrugh, together with a timeline.

The main sheet of stamps features two first class stamps, two 60p stamps, two 67p stamps and one 88p stamp. The mini sheet contains stamps ranging from first class up to 97p.

Stamps and stamp products are available at post office branches, online at www.royalmail.com/stamps and Royal Mail Tallents House at 21 South Gyle Crescent, Edinburgh EH12 9PB or by calling 08457 641 641.
