A HOST of big name gardeners will be dispensing expert advice at this years’ BBC Gardeners’ World Live at The NEC from June 16-20 which will be celebrating the great outdoors and helping people make the most of their gardens this summer.
In the Gardeners’ World Magazine Theatre, there will be talks and demos from top presenters of the show past and present including; Toby Buckland, Carol Klein, Joe Swift and Alys Fowler plus Alan Titchmarsh and Monty Don.
There will also be ongoing demonstrations on the Taste of Greenacre feature, bringing the BBC TV garden to life. Meanwhile BBC1’s Countryfile presenters Matt Baker, Julia Bradbury, John Craven and Adam Henson will be taking a look at wildlife and the environment in the Countryfile Magazine area.
Gardening fans will find plenty at BBC Gardeners’ World to keep their outdoor spaces looking gorgeous.
Vistiors will be inspired by stunning designs in the featured show gardens, can shop their way through a variety of plants and garden supplies, or take in the beautiful sights and smells in the RHS floral marquee sponsored by Renault, with award-winning displays and tips from the UK's top growers.
Visitors can even learn how to create their own arrangements in the floristry masterclasses (new for 2010), or try their hand at producing tasty home-grown fruit, vegetables and herbs and put questions to the experts on the Grow Your Own Garden.
Included in the ticket price is entry to the BBC Summer Good Food Show. Here guests will find everything they need to enjoy sizzling summer barbecues, alfresco dining, and entertaining during the long summer evenings.
There will be live cooking demonstrations in the Summer Kitchen sponsored by Sainsbury’s, from top celebrity chefs including the Hairy Bikers and James Martin, hundreds of delicious seasonal products to stimulate the senses, cool cocktails and refreshing wines.
