PEOPLE trying to travel between Redditch and Bromsgrove on the highway have been faced with horrendous tail-backs.
Drivers found themselves travelling at a snail’s pace as the icy road and sludge took its toll.
The Advertiser’s photographer, Marie Myers, was stuck in the traffic nightmare on Thursday as she tried to drive into work.
She said: “It was extremely bad. I usually get along the highway to Bromsgrove in about 10 minutes, on Thursday morning it took me more than an hour-and-a-half.
“People were understandibly getting extrememly frustrated with being stuck there, hardly moving.”
