WITH snow falling across the county, Alcester saw several schools closed on Tuesday including Alcester Grammar and Alcester High School.
Primary schools were also closed in outlying villages including Haselor, Great Alne, Dunnington, Coughton, Salford Priors and Welford on Avon.
With the roads covered under a white blanket, motorists were taking care and traffic was slow moving, but the town centre proved a picturesque playground for youngsters.
